SUPPORTS

ALUMINUM STRAINERS

1.25”, 1.5”, 1.75" or 2” deep. Patented technology developed by Lucius Hudson Inc, stronger and lighter than wood. Will never warp due to weather. We primarily stretch primed or raw cotton canvas or linen, but any kind of fabric or prints can be stretched. They can be purchased bare as well. They are very easy to hang. 

ALUMINUM STRAINERS with polyester backing

1.25”, 1.5”, 1.75" or 2” deep. Patented technology developed by Lucius Hudson Inc, stronger and lighter than wood. Will never warp due to weather. We primarily stretch primed or raw cotton canvas or linen, but any kind of fabric or prints can be stretched. They can be purchased bare as well. They are very easy to hang.  The polyester underlayer gives extra rigidity to the surface.  Its a great, light, non worping solution to wood panels.

FOLDABLE ALUMINUM STRAINERS

1.25”, 1.5”, 1.75" or 2” deep. We can convert our rigid aluminum strainers into foldable structures to assure paintings will fit through the door. 

COLLAPSIBLE ALUMINUM STRAINERS

1.5” deep. Patent pending technology developed by Lucius Hudson Inc. We stretch primed or unprimed cotton canvas or linen, however, any kind of fabric or substrate can be stretched on them. They can also be purchased bare as well. 

WOOD STRAINERS

We mill our own wood from kiln dried stock, therefore we can offer these products in any size or depth. Notches are cut on top and bottom corners to tuck the folds so they are less perceivable. We make certain to discard knots and other imperfections from the raw material selection. We offer poplar, basswood and maple. 

FOLDABLE WOOD STRAINERS

We can convert our rigid wood strainers into foldable structures to assure paintings will fit through the door. Notches are cut on top and bottom corners to ensure the folds in the canvas are barely perceivable. We make certain to discard knots and other imperfections from the raw material selection. We offer poplar, basswood and maple. 

CRADLED WOOD PANELS

For artists who like painting on hard surfaces we offer masonite or luan plywood panels. Milled to any depth and size. No staples are used on the face of our products. To ensure straightness of our panels we use aerospace grade granite surface plates to check the quality of our milling and to face our panels. SHAPED WOOD PANELS

We use a 60” X 144” CNC router to create panels in almost any shape. Circular, elliptical, diamond, half circles, alphabet letters or almost any drawing can be turned into a sign or support. Simply fax or email drawings of what you're interested in and we can produce it. Available with or without canvas stretched on them.  

ALUMINUM BACK FRAMES

Has cleated profile, for mounting art made on aluminum, Plexiglas or other substrates. The extrusion profile makes it very easy and safe to hang on the wall with our wood cleats.

ALUMINUM FRAMES

Welded aluminum frames, brushed or polished. Available in any of these profiles for making floater and regular frames:  (¾ X 3), (¼ X 2), (¼ X 1 ½), (½  X 1 ½),  

(1 ¾ X 1 ¾), (5/16 X 1), (1 ¼ X 1 ¼), (1 X 2)

HANGING CLEATS

We can incorporate cleats on most of our products for easier hanging.  

ART AND PRINTS STRETCHING

We specialize in stretching art that has never been stretched, as well as re-stretching paintings, meeting the exact old edge lines.

STRIP LINING

The application of a strip of canvas or linen to reinforce the original edges and or provide sufficient material to stretch the painting around the support.

ALUMINUM PANELS

We create a back frame and attach an aluminum sheet to it.
