* Structure is stronger than wood, and in the case of wood structures when stretching fabric over them at a certain tension, the fabric creates an imprint on the wood, which then creates traction, thus reducing capability of stretching. In the case of aluminum, the fabric slides right over it allowing for ideal tautness.
